The fees for studying our one year diploma course in 2017, are as follows (all amounts include VAT where applicable).  (See separate menu item for Introduction to Packaging Technology course and Advanced Packaging Diploma).

The 2017 fee for the full diploma course is R14,000-00.  This is  inclusive of –

•    text book and study aids;
•    South Africa VAT (tax)
•    student membership for the year of study;
•    a free monthly copy of a national packaging journal;
•    lecturing tuition (where an attendance student); mentorship where self study (certain centres), or ongoing assistance and support by the Distance Learning Administrator, where a distance learning student.


Other fees (including VAT where applicable) are as follows  –

FEES FOR 2017

 SA RANDS

Repeating one semester, including student assignment if second semester, and including supply of text book (if no assignment, deduct R1,000 as below).

 R7,355.76

Repeating student assignment only (no text book) - students who failed or did not submit assignment in the year immediately preceding.

 R1,100.00

Write supplementary examination (in the same year), where original examination was failed
  R550.00

 Late submission or re-submission fee, student assignment (current year only, repeating in a subsequent year, see above )

 R385.00

 Repeating one or more exams as per para 9.2 of the Course Rules and Conduct - per exam (no text book)  R1,100.00

Repeating one semester also includes those benefits listed below, namely -

•    student membership for the year of study;

•    a free monthly copy of a national packaging journal.

•    lecturing tuition (where an attendance student); mentorship where self study (certain smaller centres); ongoing assistance and support by the Distance Learning Administrator, where a distance learning student.

The other categories mentioned above do NOT carry these benefits.

Students repeating any element of the course where no text book is supplied are strongly advised to purchase the latest edition of the book as amendments and updates may have been made, which may possibly affect their studies.
